According to the source, “Ethan has informed his friends and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Lilly Jay, that he’s now living with Ariana on a full-time basis in New York. They’re genuinely happy together and mutually beneficial for each other. Ariana’s friends all have a deep fondness for him.” The source, however, did not provide specifics regarding when the private couple made this transition in their relationship.
In Daily Mail’s initial report on September 12, an insider close to the situation raised questions about Ariana Grande’s living arrangements. The insider remarked, “Ariana is currently residing with a married man while she remains legally married to Dalton Gomez, from whom Grande filed for divorce on September 18. It appears as though Ariana is holding onto her marriage to Dalton as a contingency plan in case things with Ethan don’t work out. What’s unusual is that she’s living with Ethan without having initiated divorce proceedings with Dalton.”
However, Dalton Gomez also filed for divorce shortly after Grande’s filing on September 18. Sources disclosed to TMZ that Grande and Gomez had settled their affairs amicably before filing, with Grande planning to provide financial compensation to Dalton as part of the arrangement.
The public first saw Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater together on September 22 when they visited Disney World. Accompanied by family and friends, including Grande’s mother and brother, they enjoyed a private tour of the Orlando theme park.
